Gandhinagar: The National Lok Adalat will be held in court across the state on June 22 under the guidance of the Gujarat State Legal Services Authority (GSLSA). The GSLSA plans to present 3.5 lakh cases for settlement during the Lok Adalat.
GSLSA has encouraged litigants to take advantage of the Lok Adalat to resolve cases related to civil disputes, cheque return cases, motor vehicle accident compensation cases, land acquisition and labor disputes, etc.
Litigants are advised to visit their nearest legal aid services office or call the toll-free number 15100 for guidance. Over the past two years, nearly 20 lakh cases have been settled in Lok Adalats. DeshGujarat
