Gandhinagar: A day after Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s visit to the Kheda based Seva Sadan office on Friday, Mamlatdar Pritiben Shah was suspended. The decision was conveyed to the media on Saturday evening.
The Chief Minister had gone through several files of the Revenue Department during his visit to the Seva Sadan office in Kheda. He was accompanied by senior officials of the State government. During the inspection, negligence on the part of the officer came to light, following which Pritiben Shah was transferred to the Disaster Management cell based in Chhota Udepur.
The Chief Minister had visited Sarsa in Anand district on Friday and interacted with the villagers. After this, he made a surprise visit to the Seva Sadan office in Kheda along with the Chief Secretary and the Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue department. DeshGujarat
