New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor as part of the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the success of Operation Sindoor, describing it as a “Vijay Utsav” that the entire country is celebrating. Speaking in the Lok Sabha today, he praised the courage of the armed forces, highlighting how their actions have filled every Indian with pride. PM Modi also emphasised that this victory belongs to all citizens, as the operation sent a strong and clear message to India’s adversaries.
Earlier, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in his speech, squarely blamed Pakistan for the “brutal, heartless and merciless” terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22. Gandhi also said that the entire House stands united in condemning this cowardly act.
Earlier in the day, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh initiated the debate on Operation Sindoor in the Rajya Sabha. Of the 16 hours allocated for discussions on Operation Sindoor in the Upper House, the Congress has been given around two hours to speak. DeshGujarat
