DGVCL announces scheduled power cut in parts of Surat from July 28 – Aug 2

Surat: Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (DGVCL) has announced scheduled power outages in different parts of the city due to essential maintenance and repair work at various sub-stations and feeders. The outages will affect consumers in Pandesara, Sachin, Udhna, Adajan, Variyav, Motavarachha, Olpad, Rander, and surrounding areas on specific dates between July 28 and August 2, 2025.
As per the notice, the power cuts will last for several hours between 7 am and 4 pm during this period. However, if the work is completed earlier than planned, the power supply will be restored without prior notice. Consumers are requested to take note and plan accordingly.
According to the notice:

July 28: Power cut in Iskon Road to Morabhagal area under Rander 2 sub-division; and in Adajan sub-division covering Adajan D-Mart area, Hariom Nagar to Presidency School, Atman Park to Green Valley, and Sai Nagar to Sun Residency.

July 29: Areas from Varachha Village to Sudama Chowk, SMC Fire Station, and Rushi Bungalow Road to Shitlamata Temple in Mota Varachha sub-division; and from Pipaldiwala School to Palanpur Patiya Road in Rander 2 sub-division will face outages.

July 30: Power cut from Kabristan to Mausam Restaurant in Mota Varachha; from Vastupujya to Matushri Farm; and from Sudama to Radhe Chowk in Utran. Additionally, Iskon Road to Saroli Bridge and Jahangirpura area in Rander 2 sub-division will also see power cuts.

July 31: Power cut in areas from Olpad to Sayan Road under Olpad sub-division.

August 1: Ugat Canal Road area under Rander 2 sub-division will face power outage.

August 2: Masma and Valkal Industrial Area under Rander Rural sub-division will experience power cuts.
Furthermore, according to another notice issued from the Industrial sub-division of DGVCL, areas in Pandesara, Sachin Hoziwala, and Udhna will also face power cuts from Tuesday, July 29 to Saturday, August 2. DeshGujarat
