14 booked in Gujarat for anti-national posts on social media during Operation Sindoor

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Police has registered cases against 14 individuals who posted anti-national, negative, and demoralizing content on social media during Operation Sindoor, launched by the Indian Armed Forces amid the tense situation between India and Pakistan, according to an official statement issued today.
Minister of State for Home Affairs, Harsh Sanghavi, had instructed officials to take strict action against those posting such anti-national content. Following his directive, State Police Chief Vikas Sahay also reviewed these social media posts and directed the police to register cases and take immediate, strict action against the individuals involved.
During monitoring by the Intelligence Branch and the Social Media Monitoring Unit of Gujarat Police, it was found that 14 individuals had posted anti-national and demoralizing content, and FIRs have been registered against them.
Of these, two FIRs were filed in Kheda district, two in Bhuj, and one each in Jamnagar, Junagadh, Vapi, Banaskantha, Anand, Ahmedabad, Surat city, Vadodara, Patan, and Godhra—making a total of 14 FIRs, with strict action initiated in all cases. DeshGujarat
