Dahod: Two young men from Vapi, Gujarat, have set off on a remarkable “Ramathon” – a long-distance run – from their hometown to the holy city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.
Ujjawal Droliya and Sanjay Shukla began their journey from Vapi on January 22nd, running towards their destination, the revered Ram Temple in Ayodhya. They recently reached Dahod, where they were greeted and felicitated by locals and the Sanatan World Pariwar organization.
The duo took a break at a restaurant near the highway in Dahod, where they shared details about their inspiring endeavor. According to them, the primary objective of this ambitious run is to promote awareness about the importance of educating girls. They aim to spread the message about bringing awareness and change regarding girls’ education during their 1500-kilometer journey.
Their planned route will take them through several states, and they anticipate completing the ramathon in approximately 25 days. They have already covered nearly 400 kilometers and have around 1100 kilometers left to reach Ayodhya. After their brief stop in Dahod, they resumed their journey towards Madhya Pradesh. They are expected to reach Ayodhya by February 16th. DeshGujarat
