Don’t want to recontest from Mahesana: Nitin Patel writes to party leadership

Gandhinagar: Former Deputy Chief Minister and Mahesana seat legislator Nitinbhai Patel has expressed his wish not to contest the upcoming State assembly election. Patel has sent a handwritten letter to the party’s central and state chiefs and conveyed that he doesn’t wish to claim candidature from Mahesana seat. Nitin Patel has further requested party leadership not to discuss his name while taking a decision on the party’s candidate from Mahesana seat. The letter is dated November 9. DeshGujarat
