Which Ahmedabad – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will stop at Navsari?
August 09, 2025
Navsari: The 20th place in Gujarat to be connected by the Vande Bharat Express will be Navsari. The news was confirmed a few days ago by Union Minister of Jal Shakti and local MP, C.R. Patil. However, there was uncertainty over which of the two Ahmedabad–Mumbai route Vande Bharat trains would make the stop in the town. Today, the Union Minister clarified this in a Facebook post. According to Patil’s social media update, Train No. 20901/20902 Mumbai Central–Gandhinagar Capital–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will be the one halting at Navsari.
In his post, Patil stated, “Good news for the residents of Navsari! Train No. 20901–20902 Vande Bharat Express will now have a stoppage at Navsari while travelling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai and from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. This will allow the residents of Navsari to also benefit from the Vande Bharat service. With this new stoppage, travel for the people of Navsari will become more convenient and comfortable.”
The official announcement and revised timetable for this new halt are yet to be released by the Ministry of Railways, after which bookings will open on IRCTC.
This stoppage of the semi-high-speed train comes shortly after a halt was recently provided at Valsad on an experimental basis. DeshGujarat
