Driving Test Track at Ahmedabad RTO Waterlogged; 250 Applicants Sent Back
July 29, 2025
Ahmedabad: The incessant downpour on Sunday morning, which continued until Monday morning, led to waterlogging at the driving test track of the Subhash Bridge RTO, forcing around 250 applicants to return without taking their driving tests.
This has become a routine problem every monsoon, as the Ahmedabad RTO test track often gets flooded and has to be temporarily closed. Authorities have assured that those who could not appear for their driving test on Monday will be given priority slots in the coming days.
RTO officials also added that once the new driving test track becomes operational, such waterlogging issues are expected to be resolved.
Meanwhile, technical glitches in the transport department’s online portal disrupted other services as well, leading to delays in name corrections, ownership transfers, and clearing of pending driving licence applications. DeshGujarat
