Heavy Rain Dominating Sunday in Ahmedabad City ; Area wise Figures Here

Gandhinagar: The city of Ahmedabad received rainfall throughout the Saturday night, and it continued even by noon on Sunday. Water logging has been reported in low lying areas. Traffic is negligible on the roads across the city. The atmosphere is dark, and most people are spending time within their houses. The intensity of rainfall kept changing.
As per the data available from the Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC), the city had average 44.16 mm rainfall during 24 hours period ending 6 am. Among the wards, Chakudiya, Ramol, Usmanpura, Science City, Gota, Jodhpur, Dudheshwar, Maninagar had more than two inches rainfall, while in other areas the rainfall was was above one inch and one and half inch.
