Ambaji: The world‑renowned pilgrimage site Ambaji Temple has received a silver donation estimated to be worth around ₹46 lakh. An unidentified devotee from Ahmedabad anonymously donated approximately 40 kg of silver to the temple trust.
As part of the offering, the devotee gifted intricately crafted silver grille doors for Gabbar Gate and Bhairavji Temple, as well as a large ceremonial umbrella (Chatra). Temple authorities, including the temple inspector and administrative staff, officially accepted the donation. Today, work will begin to install the new silver doors at the Gabbar precinct.
Notably, the Ambaji Mandir Devasthan Trust — which plans to convert the entire temple into gold — frequently receives anonymous donations from devotees. At present, the Shikhar portion of the Ambaji Mandir has already been converted to gold. DeshGujarat
