IMD forecasts heavy rains in these parts of Gujarat during next 5 days

Surat: During the next 5 days till July 29, some parts of Gujarat are likely to be lashed by heavy to very heavy rains, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow alerts for these areas.
As per the IMD bulletin, during the next 12 hours, an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rains is in place in Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and in the Union Territories of Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Additionally, a yellow warning has been issued for Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, and Tapi for likely heavy rainfall.
On July 26, only a yellow warning with expectation of heavy rain is in place for Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, as well as Amreli and Bhavnagar.
On July 27, heavy to very heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of Dahod, Narmada, and Chhota Udepur, which are on orange alert. Meanwhile, many other districts including Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Botad may also get heavy rains.
On July 28, an orange alert has been issued for Aravalli, Sabarkantha, and Mahisagar for very heavy rains. Furthermore, Banaskantha, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Morbi, and Botad might also get heavy rain.
On July 29, heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region, namely Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Dahod, Mahisagar, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Amreli, and Bhavnagar.
After that, the intensity of rain may reduce, with only light rain expected across the state on July 30 and 31. DeshGujarat
