Timings of Gandhinagar – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Revised due to addition of new halt

Valsad: Following the Ministry of Railways’ approval to provide a stoppage for the Vande Bharat Express (Train Nos. 20901/20902) running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar Capital at Valsad station, the Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai Central, has announced that the halt will begin from Sunday, July 27.

Soon after this announcement, the new revised timetable for the Vande Bharat train was also released for Gujarat, as the train will now stop for 2 minutes at Valsad station.

Notably, the train will now begin 5 minutes earlier from Gandhinagar at 14:00 hrs instead of the earlier departure time of 14:05 hrs, and will reach Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, and Surat around 5 minutes earlier than before. However, after arriving at Valsad at 17:51 hrs and departing at 17:53 hrs after a 2-minute halt, the train will continue to reach Vapi at the same time as before, and then proceed towards Mumbai to arrive at Mumbai Central at 20:30 hrs.

For the return journey, the train will depart from Mumbai and arrive at Vapi at the same time as earlier. It will then reach Valsad at 08:19 hrs, halt for 2 minutes, and depart at 08:21 hrs for Surat. After that, there will be an advance of about 5 minutes in the arrival and departure times at Surat, Vadodara, Anand, and Ahmedabad. Yet, the train will still reach Gandhinagar at its scheduled time of 12:25 hrs.
