Rahul will meet the newly appointed district presidents of Congress party in Gujarat at party event in Anand in Central Gujarat. This event will be the part of the workshop held at Anand during July 26 to 28 for training of newly appointed district presidents of party.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi came to Gujarat on March 7-8 and then on April 8-9 for the Congress national convention. After the convention, he came to Modasa on April 16, where he addressed 1200 workers to launch party’s organization buildup exercise. Now he will visit Gujarat on July 26. Thus, he will come to Gujarat for the fourth time in 4 months.
Gujarat is going to witness general election of State assembly in December 2027 if on time. Not just Rahul, but the other opposition party – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal is also paying regular visits to Gujarat. Kejriwal visited Gujarat in June this year for campaign in Visavadar assembly bypoll. He then visited Gujarat against in July for three days to launch party’s Gujarat Jodi campaign. He is again on Gujarat visit from 23 July to address public meetings in Central and North Gujarat. It appears the preparations for Gujarat assembly elections 2027 have started much early.
