Junagadh civic body invites tenders for stray dog survey

Junagadh: With cases of stray dog menace rising across cities in Gujarat, the Junagadh Municipal Corporation has issued an online tender inviting bids from interested contractors and agencies to conduct a survey of stray dogs within the municipal limits of Junagadh city. The estimated annual cost of the work is ₹5 lakh, with a tender fee of ₹1,500 and an earnest money deposit of ₹15,000. Interested agencies can submit item rate bids online by August 1, 2025, and the tenders will be opened on August 12, 2025.
Notably, the stray dog menace has been increasing in the state, with reports of dog bites coming in daily from several areas. This step aims to help control the problem. DeshGujarat
