₹2 Crore Luxury Mercedes-Benz Gets Stuck in Mud on Gujarat Highway; Video Goes Viral
July 17, 2025
Valsad: A video showing a luxury Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG stuck on the side of a national highway in Gujarat is making waves on social media. The clip has attracted attention not just because the SUV costs over Rs 2 crore, but also because it serves as a reminder that even premium vehicles can face challenges on Indian roads.
In the video posted on facebook, the black GLE 53 AMG coupe SUV is seen with its left wheels completely trapped in a muddy ditch along the Valsad National Highway. Despite the driver’s attempts to free it by accelerating, the car remains firmly lodged, with the front and rear left tyres deeply buried in mud.
It appears the driver may have tried to overtake another vehicle from the left side—an unsafe manoeuvre, especially on narrow or uneven stretches. Unfortunately, this decision led the SUV to slip into the roadside ditch, likely because of soft soil or limited space.
To pull the vehicle out, a Mahindra Thar arrived at the scene. The Thar’s driver tied a rope to the front of the Mercedes and slowly reversed while the GLE’s driver accelerated forward. Together, they managed to free the luxury SUV without much difficulty.
The ditch was fairly deep, leaving the entire left side of the Mercedes coated in thick mud. Although there’s a possibility the underbody or panels suffered some damage, any such impact wasn’t clearly visible due to the layer of dirt. DeshGujarat
