KPI Green Energy Bags 150 MW Wind Project in Gujarat

Gujarat: KPI Green Energy Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the development of 150 MW of grid-connected wind power projects, the company announced on Tuesday.
The LOI, dated July 14, 2025, follows the company’s participation in GUVNL’s competitive bidding process. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GUVNL will be executed after obtaining the necessary approval from the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC), the company stated through an exchange filing.
The company also stated that this order is part of KPI Green Energy’s strategic plan to expand its renewable portfolio, supporting its ambitious goal of achieving 10 GW capacity by 2030.
The tender invited bids for setting up 250 MW of grid-connected wind power projects, with an option to increase capacity by an additional 250 MW under the greenshoe provision. The company emerged as a successful bidder in this process, securing an allocation of 150 MW for its projects. DeshGujarat
