Illegal bungalow, farmhouse of notorious criminal Kara Rabari razed in Junagadh

Junagadh: In an ongoing crackdown against anti-social elements and the illegal encroachments made by them, the authorities today demolished the luxurious bungalow and farmhouse of Kara Devrajbhai Rada Rabari (50) in Junagadh. Rabari, a habitual offender involved in 107 criminal cases, had allegedly encroached on government land, which was cleared as part of the operation.
The accused had illegally constructed a lavish bungalow over 750 square meters in Survey No. 308 at Lirbaipara in Junagadh, and a farmhouse on 35,000 square meters in Survey No. 397 near Kendriya Vidyalaya. Both structures were razed today by a team led by Junagadh SP Subodh Odedara with the support of the civic body.
A total of 107 criminal cases have been registered against Kara Rabari so far, including 4 murders, 3 attempted murders, 4 kidnappings, 10 robberies, 6 cases of obstruction of police duty, 4 cases of forcible removal, 25 assaults, 46 prohibition-related offenses, one under the Arms Act, and 4 other crimes. He has also been detained twice under the PASA (Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act), and his gang has been booked under the Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime (GujCTOC) Act.
