Gujarat identifies 29 sites for caravan park development; invites EOI
June 18, 2025
Gandhinagar: The Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL) has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the development of caravan tourism across the state. This initiative aims to unlock Gujarat’s vast tourism potential by introducing and expanding caravan-based travel experiences.
Recognizing the nascent stage of caravan tourism in India, the EOI process is expected to generate ideas and gauge industry expectations for the complete caravan park ecosystem in Gujarat. This includes inputs from caravan suppliers, tour operators, infrastructure developers, repair services, waste disposal and management, safety and security considerations, and demand assessment.
