Ahmedabad: Again people had to literally jump from the height of the building as high as fourth and fifth floor due to fire. The latest incident is from Aatrey Orchid flat in Indira Bridge area Thankfully local residents gathered in the compound were holding large cloths and cushions to catch safely those jumping from the top floor. The locals complained that Fire & Emergency Service had not arrived with required equipment.

At least two persons jumped from the fifth floor of a building that was partially caught in fire.

Fire broke out reportedly at fourth floor apartment unit in Aatrey Orchid flats near Indira Bridge in Hasol area of city today afternoon.

The fire broke out in the Air Condition system of the flat as per the primary information. Large number of people gathered as smoke generated from this incident of fire was visible from long distance away.

None was reported hurt or dead in this incident so far. It is reported that two persons were in the flat when fire broke out. Fire further spread to fifth floor. More details are awaited on this. DeshGujarat
