Tribute meeting for late Harishbhai Nayak held at RSS office in Karnavati
April 18, 2025
Ahmedabad: A tribute meeting was organized at Dr. Hedgewar Bhavan, Karnavati, on Thursday to pay homage to Harishbhai Nayak, senior Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who passed away on 13th April 2025.
A large number of RSS volunteers and social & political leaders, including Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, attended the tribute meeting and prayed for peace for the departed soul. Member of Parliament Dineshbhai Makwana, Ahmedabad City BJP President Amitbhai Shah, MLA Amitbhai Thakkar, Kaushikbhai Jain, and many other leaders were present at the meeting.
During the occasion, in his address, Atulji Limaye, the joint general secretary of RSS, mentioned that the tradition of pracharaks in RSS is a remarkable one, continuing since 1942, and remains an ongoing process. He emphasized that the only prerequisite for becoming a pracharak is love for the motherland. Educated, uneducated, wealthy, and poor workers have all become pracharaks. Living among society and being like society is the life of a pracharak. All pracharaks have worked towards creating a positive atmosphere in society.
Atulji further stated that the ideal state of mind, as exemplified by Harishbhai Nayak, who donated his body after his death, is something that many pracharaks have demonstrated. They have shown us the path of how an ordinary person becomes an ideal worker. The life of pracharaks like Harishbhai presents an ideal for all existing pracharaks and homebound workers, showing how one should journey from an ordinary individual to an ideal worker. He concluded by stating that if one wishes to pay tribute to pracharaks like Harishbhai, the best way is to continue the work to which they devoted their entire lives, doing it persistently and with greater speed. This, he said, would be the true tribute to them. DeshGujarat
