32,801 projects commissioned, 13,051 in initial stage before 10th Vibrant Gujarat Summit: Minister

Ahmedabad: Responding to a question in the Legislative Assembly, Industries Minister Balwantsinh Rajput stated that before the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, a total of 55,860 projects were signed for a proposed investment of ₹9,45,158.68 crore. Of these, 32,801 projects have been commissioned, while 13,051 projects are in the initial stages, and 6,217 projects are currently under implementation.
The minister highlighted that the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit was launched in 2003 by then Gujarat Chief Minister and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As a result, Gujarat has emerged as a hub for multinational companies and a model of development for the country.
Discussing the facilities available for investors, Rajput mentioned that the state government provides various incentives, including infrastructure development for transportation networks, industrial parks, and digital infrastructure. Additionally, sector-specific policies and an online single-window investor facilitation portal have been implemented.
