March 20, 2025
Mehsana: The local traders in Vijapur observed a bandh today in protest against making Govindpura Jooth Panchayat a separate Palika. The bandh was called by the Hitrakshak Samiti and was supported by traders, who kept their shops shut.
The Hitrakshak Samiti will also carry out a silent march and submit a memorandum at the Mamlatdar office. The locals are demanding that Govindpura be merged with Vijapur Municipality instead of making it a separate municipality. DeshGujarat
