Gandhinagar: Minister Raghavji Patel stated in the State Assembly that Porbandar Port, managed by the Gujarat Maritime Board, has handled over 94.50 lakh metric tons of cargo in the past five years, generating an income of ₹100 crore.
Replying to a question, Minister Patel added that, considering the increasing cargo transportation load, the 3.18 km road connecting Porbandar Jetty to the main road will be widened and upgraded to a four-lane road.
