Meeting held in Ahmedabad decides to serve notices to 14 branches of Swaminarayan sect

Ahmedabad: A meeting was held in the city to deliberate on the formation of the Sanatan Board. In this meeting, a book titled ”Kon Swami ane Kon Narayan’ by Dr. Kaushik Chaudhary was also launched.
A decision was taken in a core committee meeting to serve notices to 14 branches of Swaminarayan sects within this month over insults to Hindu Devi Devtas and distorting literature, including children’s literature, Swaminarayan sect organizations have published to brainwash the people regarding Sanatan Hindu Devi Devtas.
According to Dr. Vasant Patel, who was one of the participants in this meeting, there are over 100 books published by Swaminarayan sect branches in which Sanatan dharma’s devi devtas are presented in a distorting way to mislead the people.
The meeting, which was attended by Jyotirnathji Maharaj, decided to seek evidence from Swaminarayan sect regarding their literature and approach the court if notices for same are not replied.
Among the figures who were highlighted as participants in this meeting were journalists Devang Bhatt, Shishir Ramava, KR Chaudhary, doctor and author Dr. Kaushik Chaudhary, TV panelist Vasudev Patel, Sadhu Digambar Dhirendrapuri Maharaj, Jyotirnathji, and Dr. Swami Gaurangsharadevacharya, among others.
