Gujarat Budget 2025: ₹350 crore for Sabarmati Riverfront expansion to GIFT City-Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: The Finance Minister of Gujarat today presented the state budget for the fiscal year 2025-26. In this year’s budget, ₹350 crore has been allocated for the expansion of the Riverfront on the Sabarmati River from Ahmedabad to GIFT City and Gandhinagar.
Presenting the budget in the state assembly, Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai said, “The second phase of Riverfront Development on the Sabarmati River linking Ahmedabad-Gift City-Gandhinagar is in progress. The work for the remaining five phases is planned to be completed in the next three years. For the development of this longest riverfront of the country, I allocate ₹ 350 crore.” DeshGujarat
