Ropeway service at Pavagadh to remain closed from Feb 17 to March 1
February 08, 2025
Panchmahal: The ropeway service at the famous Mahakali Temple on Pavagadh Hill, one of the 51 Shaktipeeths, will remain shut for 13 days this month. The service will be suspended from February 17, 2025, to March 1, 2025, for annual maintenance by Usha Brecko Company, which manages the ropeway.
During this period, pilgrims visiting Mahakali Mataji for darshan will have to travel from Machi to the temple via the steps on Rewapath. Pilgrims, especially the elderly and those traveling with small children, have been advised to adjust their travel plans accordingly.
The company has officially informed the District Collector, Provincial Officer, and Shri Kalika Mandir Trust in writing. The service will resume as usual from March 2, 2025, after the necessary repairs and maintenance are completed. DeshGujarat
