Stray Cattle Menace: AMC Revokes Licenses of Three Cattle Owners
January 08, 2025
Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has revoked the licenses of three cattle owners due to the continued presence of their stray cattle on public roads. This action was taken under the city’s stray cattle control policy, which requires cattle owners to keep their animals in designated areas.
Recent inspections by the Cattle Nuisance Control Department (CNCD) of AMC found stray cattle roaming in areas such as Sola, Isanpur, and Naroda. The identification of the animals was made using chips attached to them, leading to the cancellation of their owners’ licenses. As a result, the three owners will no longer be allowed to keep cattle, and any cattle they own will be removed from the city. DeshGujarat
