Gujarat govt starts Digital Crop Survey for Rabi Season 2024-25

Gandhinagar: The Government of India has started a new initiative of Digital Crop Survey in all the states of the country from the year 2024-25. As part of which, the Digital Crop Survey of the Kharif 2024-25 season in Gujarat was completed on October 25.
Now, with the start of the Rabi season, the work of Rabi 2024-25 Digital Crop Survey will be carried out for all the farms in 33 districts of the state. From today, December 15th, a digital crop survey will be conducted for 45 days across the state by a surveyor selected at the village level. Under which, more than one crore survey plots of all the cultivable areas in 18,464 villages of 33 districts of the state will be covered.
Due to this digital crop survey, earlier the Revenue Department was registering Panipatrak Sample No. 12, which was not being completed in full, which was digitalized through the Digital Crop Survey, and 100% of the survey number was being digitalized through the Crop Survey. Registration will be done in Form No. 12. So that farmers will have more flexibility in registering crops in Form No. 12. DeshGujarat
