Water level at Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam crosses 90% mark again

Gandhinagar: In line with the conventional practice of filling Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam to its top level on the birthday of the Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi who completed the Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam project, the dam it appears is being filled up now to its top level after prolonged period of release of water in high volume.
The dam today morning again crossed the level of 90%, and at 8.30 am it was 90.31% full. The inflow is over 1.07 lakh cusecs, while outflow is nearly 94,000 cusecs in addition to over 15,000 cusecs being relesed to canal as of 8.30 am. Five gates of the dam are open for release of water.
The level of water is 135.75m against the top level of 138.68 m. DeshGujarat
