Leopard kills forest department staffer in Chhota Udepur

Chhota Udepur: A forest department staffer was killed by a leopard in the Pavi Jetpur range forest on Monday evening. Ganpatbhai Tettabhai, 45, who served as a watchman, was dragged into the Baria forest by the leopard, and his body was found on Tuesday, stated range forest officer (RFO) Vanraj Solanki.
Tettabhai, a resident of Ambakhoot village in Pavi Jetpur taluka, was employed by the forest department on an outsourced basis. His family alerted the forest department when he failed to return home from work. The body was located on Tuesday afternoon, about 2 km from the site of the attack.
