August 26, 2024
Porbandar: The Deep Depression formed over south Rajasthan and adjoining North Gujarat is forecasted to move west-southwestwards and emerge into northeast Arabian sea off Saurastra and Kutch coast around 28-29 August 2024 which will cause inclement weather over the state and then along adjoining coast and sea.
Indian Coast Guard is synchronising proactive and preventive measures for the safety of our seafarers especially the fishermen.
Indian Coast Guard assets are maintaining 24X7 vigil and broadcasting advisories, over RADIO communication channels from ships, aircraft and radar station to caution fishing boats at sea off Gujarat coast to return harbour for safety in light of likely rough sea conditions due to the anticipated weather system.
