Banas Dairy announces hike of Rs. 41 per kg fat of Milk

Banaskantha: Asia’s largest dairy, Banas Dairy, has announced a hike in the purchase price of milk. The dairy today announced an increase of Rs 41 per kilogram of fat for milk producers. Previously, Rs 948 per kilogram of fat in milk was being paid by Banas Dairy, but now, with an increase of Rs 41 per kilogram of fat in the purchase price of milk, cattle rearers will be paid Rs 989.
This announcement was made by the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and Chairman of Banas Dairy, Shankarbhai Chaudhary, while addressing the 56th Annual General Meeting of Banas Dairy at Deodar.
Chaudhary has announced that, in comparison to the Rs. 1,952 crore received last year, farmers will be receiving Rs. 1,973.79 crore this year. This announcement will benefit more than 5 lakh cattle farmers. DeshGujarat
