Crocodile kills a person in Sabarmati river

Palanpur: A man’s body was recovered from the Sabarmati River, partially eaten by a crocodile, near Techawa village in the Bijapur taluka of Mehsana district.
The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Baldevji Thakor, a cattle herder from Techawa village. Baldev left home on Saturday evening to graze the cattle, but the animals returned without him. This morning, villagers found his mutilated and dismembered body on the banks of the Sabarmati River, the village talati, Saroj Raval, told the media.
Keshuji, the cousin of the deceased, shared that Baldevji had five children—three sons and two daughters, one of whom is married. He also noted that Baldevji was involved in animal husbandry. DeshGujarat
