5 km traffic jam near Amalkhadi bridge on Ankleshwar – Surat highway of NHAI due to rain related road damage
July 31, 2024
Surat: Heavy rainfall has damaged the national highway number 48 of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) in Bharuch district. This has resulted into a regular traffic jam on this crucial highway which connects Surat to Ahmedabad.
A traffic jam of 5 km was seen on Ankleshwar – Surat highway, mainly due to potholes on Amalkhadi bridge on Tuesday once again. Every year, the rainfall damages the national highway. The blame of delayed repair goes to the monsoon condition during which road construction can’t take place.
The traffic condition at Valiya chokdi and Pratin chokdi bridge upto Ramdev chodki often witnesses heavy and prolonged traffic jam. DeshGujarat
