Panchmahal: With the incessant rains over the past few days and further forecasts of heavy rain in Panchmahal district, the administration has banned entry to Pavagadh hill.

Pavagadh is a busy pilgrimage site, with Shree Mahakali Mataji Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, located atop the hill. However, with heavy rains, water is flowing down the steps of Pavagadh.
