Entry to Pavagadh hill banned due to heavy rains
July 25, 2024
Panchmahal: With the incessant rains over the past few days and further forecasts of heavy rain in Panchmahal district, the administration has banned entry to Pavagadh hill.
Pavagadh is a busy pilgrimage site, with Shree Mahakali Mataji Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, located atop the hill. However, with heavy rains, water is flowing down the steps of Pavagadh. Keeping this in mind and to prevent any accidents, the authorities have imposed a ban on climbing the hill. DeshGujarat
