Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro route may begin operations in July; safety trial held

Gandhinagar: The Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar metro route from Motera in Ahmedabad to Sector 1 of the state capital Gandhinagar is expected to begin operations in July. Today, the route’s safety trial was overseen by Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety R.K. Mishra.
Phase 2 of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project is nearing completion, with commercial operations expected to commence next month after safety inspections. This 20 km metro route aims to connect Motera in Ahmedabad to Sector 1 in Gandhinagar.
Earlier, a successful pre-trial run was conducted between the Raisan and Koba stations, marking a crucial step toward the upcoming launch. DeshGujarat
