Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today launched the Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP) at Indira Gandhi International Airport, aiming to streamline travel for Indian nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders. This initiative promises a smoother and more efficient travel experience for frequent flyers.

Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP) is an initiative by the Government of India, aimed to provide a hassle-free travel experience for Indian passport holders and OCI cardholders. By facilitating expedited immigration clearance, this initiative aims to reduce airport congestion and enhance travel experience.

Must be Indian National or Foreign National with Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card
A Stepwise Guide of Application Process:
Step:1 Enrolment:
- Registration: Visit https://ftittp.mha.gov.in and sign up using your mobile number. Then verify your email and set up a password.
- Login: Use your registered email and password to log in.
- Application Form: Select whether you are an Indian citizen or OCI cardholder and complete the application form with accurate passport details.
- Biometrics: Choose your preferred location for biometric submission—either at designated airports or Foreigners Regional Registration Offices (FRROs).
- Document Upload: Upload a passport size photo (same dimensions as the one in Indian Passport), scanned copies of the first and last pages of your passport, residential proof, and OCI card (if required).
- Confirmation: Upon submission, you will receive an email confirmation.
- Payment: Complete the payment. The fees for adult Indian Nationals would be 2000 rupees, and 100$ for OCI cardholders
Step:2 Biometric Submission
Once the application is approved, schedule an appointment for biometric submission at your chosen location. This step is essential for finalizing your FTI-TTP registration.
Other Important Details
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of application.
- Accuracy in residential address details is crucial to avoid application rejection.
- Approved applicants will receive instructions via email to schedule biometric submission.
- The process for FTI-TTP registration may take up to a month.
