Delhi: SpiceJet airline has found itself in controversy after a passenger complained about errors in seat allocation. One of the travelers was furious about the mismanagement and advised the airline to shut down their service.
In the first case, a passenger named Manish Chavda took to a social media platform last week and stated that he was traveling from Delhi to Ahmedabad on a SpiceJet flight when he was allocated a seat that did not even exist on the plane.
Sharing the image of his boarding pass on X (formerly Twitter), Manish wrote, “What a blunder by spicejet, I am travelling from Delhi to Ahmedabad flight number on SG8193, my seat number is 29E. Here comes the disappointing part there is no 29E seat in plane. Supporting staffs are also shocked how it can be possible.”

In another case, on May 18th, Pawan Kotte tweeted that SpiceJet had issued two boarding passes for a single seat. This mistake by the airline led to a ruckus on the flight.
Sharing pictures from inside the flight and tagging the airline company, Pawan wrote, “…a flight flying from Delhi to Ahmedabad had issued 2 boarding passes for single seat to different passengers. I strongly feel it’s high time for the airlines to shutdown their services.”
