Ahmedabad – Jeddah Direct Flight Service from July 20 ; Gujarat connects to Saudi Arabia

Ahmedabad: Though no official announcement has been made so far, it is learnt that Akasa Airlines is set to launch flights connecting Ahmedabad to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) from 20th July this year with a Boeing 737-8 aircraft. This will be the first such air connectivity for Gujarat to Saudi Arabia ever.
Akasa will operate Ahmedabad – Jeddah flights two days a week. The flight will leave Ahemdabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel international airport at 17.40 and reach Jeddah airport at 20.30. On the return journey, the flight will leave Jeddah at 21.30 and arrive at Ahmedabad at 4.55 AM(+1). Though an official announcement has not been made yet for the launch of this flight, reservations are open for the flight at the website of Akasa Air.
Ahead of the Ahmedabad – Jeddah launching, Akasa Air will launch Mumbai – Jeddah daily flight on July 15, 2024.The flight will leave Mumbai at 19.35 and arrive Jeddah at 22.25. In return journey it will leave Jeddah at 23.55 and reach Mumbai at 07.25(+1). From July 21, Akasa will launch second flight on this route for five times a week, barring Wednseday and Saturday. Departure from Mumbai will be at 17.40, arrival at Jeddah 20.30, while in return journey the flight will depart at 21.30 from Jeddah and reach Mumbai at 5.10 (+1). For two days, Akasa will not operate Mumbai – Jeddah second flight and it will operate as Ahmedabad – Jeddah flight. DeshGujarat
