After Aurangzeb barb, Raut rakes up Jinnah’s Gujarat connection to attack PM & HM

Sangli: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut in another attempt to defile Gujarat and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah brought up the Gujarat connection of Pakistan’s founder, Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Speaking at a rally in Sangli, Raut stated, “Four hundred years ago, Maharashtra faced challenges in the form of Aurangzeb. The actions of two political leaders in Delhi mirror what Aurangzeb did. Both Aurangzeb and Mohammad Ali Jinnah were born in Gujarat, and the latter founded Pakistan.” Although Raut did not mention Modi and Shah by name, he implied their involvement, saying, “The situation in the country mirrors history. Aurangzeb employed deceptive tactics to seize power, and those from Gujarat in Delhi seem to be following a similar pattern, dividing and ruling over Maharashtra and the nation. History seems to be repeating itself.” Raut emphasized that Aurangzeb was buried in the land of brave people.
The day before, Raut had compared Modi to Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb by saying that they both were born in Gujarat, drawing strong criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena faction. DeshGujarat
