PM Modi donates his plot for setting up Naad Brahma Centre for Indian Music in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi has donated the plot of land allocated to both himself and the late senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley in Gandhinagar for setting up the Naad Brahma Institute of Indian Music’s building. The plot is located in Sector-1 of Gandhinagar.

An iconic building dedicated to the field of music is set to be erected on the plot. The plot originally assigned to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the late leader Arun Jaitley by the Government has been handed over to the trust for this purpose.

The ‘Naad Brahma’ Kala Kendra, to be built here, will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. These include a theater with a capacity of 200 people, two black box theaters, more than 12 multi-purpose classrooms for learning music and dance, five performing studios for study and practice, an open theatre, and a sensory garden, especially the differently-abled. The center will also feature an outdoor musical garden, a modern library, and a museum showcasing the history of music. In the near future, the ‘Naad Brahma’ Kala Kendra will serve as a special center for activities in the field of music. Additionally, the campus will host a cafeteria and a fine-dining restaurant.

Indian music art’s all knowledge will be available under a single roof in the building. The Nad Brahma Institute will be formed by the Manmandir Foundation. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and the Gujarat BJP chief performed khat mahurat of this at this plot 401/A in sector 21.

This initiative aims to construct a 16-storey Naad Brahm building, making Gandhinagar a significant hub for the Indian music art sector. DeshGujarat
