Junagadh: Junagadh Municipal Corporation (JMC) teams demolished an illegal dargah outside Majevadi darwaja in a late-night operation. The teams of JMC also demolished Jalaram Mandir near Talav darwaja. District Police chief had called DySPs, Police Inspectors, Police Sub Inspectors from all over Junagadh district for bandobast. The roads leading to Majevadi darwaja were closed for three hours and traffic was diverted to alternative routes. It’s worth noting that in June 2023 when JMC served notice to an illegal dargah outside Majevadi darwaja, the Muslims had formed mobs and done heavy stone pelting. They had also damaged several vehicles. In this stone pelting, one person Polabhai Sureja was dead. DeshGujarat
Must appreciate the tireless anti encroachment drive by Gujarat gvt. Hundreds of such illegal structures have been demolished in the past few weeks.
The best part about it is, nobody could speak a single word, no protest nothing…
