Bharuch: Aether Industries is going to set up a 15 MW solar power project (Auto-Tracker Modules) here in Bharuch, operating under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment.
This initiative aims to enhance the company’s sustainability. Previously, in July 2023, Aether Industries initiated a 16 MW solar power project (Fixed Modules) under the CPP segment. The forthcoming solar power plant, spanning 60 acres in Bharuch District, is expected to undergo phase-wise commissioning, starting in the next financial year in April, as per the regulatory filing on Tuesday.
Although the capital expenditure for the project was not disclosed, the company expressed its commitment to promoting sustainable manufacturing. Aether Industries is a member of the UN Global Compact Network India, and aligning with its philosophy of prioritising elements that sustain life, the company has decided to commission a fairly large solar park, stated the promoter and whole-time director, Rohan Desai.
