Passenger with forged Passport nabbed at Ahmedabad airport

Gandhinagar: Airport Police at SVPI airport has nabbed a person under IPC sections 465 (forgery), 467(forgery of valuable security), 468(forgery for purpose of cheating), 471(using as genuine a forged document) and Passport Act section 12(2).
Accused Pankajkumar Dharmabhai Patel is from Jhulasan village of Kadi taluka in North Gujarat. A complaint against Patel is filed by Immigration Officer Nilesh Salokhe.
According to complainant he was on immigration duty at 31st January 1.50 am and clearing the passengers arrived through Qatar Airways flight number QR-534. At around 2.15 am, accused Pankaj Patel presented his Indian passport at immigration counter number one. When checked in system, the passport was found to be forged. The passport was found to be issued in the name of Shubham Mondal, resident of Por Blair in Andaman.
The immigration officer therefore filed a complaint in Airport police station against Pankaj Patel. Patel had travelled to SVPI airport in Gujarat from America. DeshGujarat
