Rajkot: A large number of people were present at the venue of Sharad Poonam Garba event in Rajkot today in which a Garba song ‘Maadi’ penned down by Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi was also sung.

Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi, local Rajya Sbaha and Lok Sabha member, former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, former Governor Vajubhai Vala, city Mayor and other party office bearers, saints were present in this function.

The stage performance was given by Parthiv Gohil and orchestra.

The organizers announced that a world record was created over the presence of 1.21 lakh people gathered in this function which was certified by ‘Indian Traditional Book or Record’, ‘World Books of Records’ and ‘World Records India’. DeshGujarat
