Speed of Vande Bharat Express on Ahmedabad – Jamnagar route to be further increased from Oct 27

Gandhinagar: Western Railway will change departure timing of Vande Bharat Express train on Ahmedabad – Jamnagar route from 5.55 pm to 6.10 pm. This new timing of departure will be effective from October 27.
Departure time of Vande Bharat Express from Jamangar will be 5.45 am instead of 5.30 am with effect from October 27. While the departure time will change, the arrival time at end stations will remain same.
It simply means that the Vande Bharat Express train on this route will run faster than before and take just 4.25 hours to complete the distance between Ahmedabad and Jamnagar from October 27, compared to 4.40 hours at present. In ideal conditions, the train will be even faster by 15 minutes end-to-end.
The train was launched last month. It is the fastest train on this route. It halts at Sanand, Viramgam, Surendranagar and Rajkot railway stations on route. DeshGujarat
