Khodaldham Trust to build temple in Patan
October 21, 2023
Patan: The Khodaldham Trust, based in Kagvad, is planning to establish a new temple and educational complex in Sander, located here in Patan. The groundbreaking ceremony for this event, scheduled for Sunday, will be presided over by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel as the chief guest.
According to the trust, Anandiben Patel, the former Chief Minister of Gujarat and the current Governor of Uttar Pradesh, will also be in attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony for the complex, which is being constructed on the Bilasana-Sander Road.
This action taken by the trust located in Saurashtra holds importance because the population of Leuva Patels in North Gujarat is notably smaller compared to the Saurashtra area. It’s worth noting that Ma Khodal is the revered deity of the Leuva Patidar community in Saurashtra. Kadva Patidars predominantly originate from North Gujarat. DeshGujarat
