Garba may get rain today in parts of Gujarat; Dry weather expected from tomorrow

Gandhinagar: Rainfall occurred in the some areas of North Gujarat on the first day of Navaratri that was Sunday, and according to the latest prediction from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), isolated places in seven districts of the state might experience light rain until 8 am on October 17th. This implies that Garba celebrations could encounter some rainfall tonight.
As per the latest bulletin from the IMD, light rain is expected to occur in the following districts: Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, and Arvalli. Other districts are likely to have dry weather on October 16th.
The bulletin also mentions that from October 17th to October 22nd, the weather is expected to remain dry.
“Over the next 5 to 7 days, mostly dry weather is expected to prevail, with no likelihood of rain. However, in the next 24 hours, light drizzle might occur in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, and Arvalli. After that period, there is no probability of rain,” said Manorama Mohanty, Head of IMD Gujarat. DeshGujarat
