Tata Airbus to meet vendors in Vadodara for upcoming defense manufacturing plant

Vadodara: Tata Airbus will meet vendors in Vadodara from September 10 to rope them in the manufacturing of defense equipment. This meeting will take place as part of the Vibrant Gujarat – Vibrant Vadodara event during 10-11 October. The event will take place at Aajwa Road-based Pandit Deendayal Hall.
Some of the companies that are going to participate in this vendor-industry meeting are Tata Airbus, Sun Pharma, RR Cable, L&ZT, Deepak Nitrate, and TBEA Energy.
Tata Advance System Ltd and Airbus will jointly set up a plant with an investment of Rs. 22,000 crore. They shall need a number of small and medium-scale industries as ancillaries in defense equipment and engineering domains.
Similarly, the other companies are also going to meet the vendors. They are also in the domains of transmission, renewable energy, electronics materials, e-vehicles, ready-to-eat frozen, and others.
